Bobbie Halminiak left her corporate job as an assistant when her boss asked if she would take over his household. She had all the organizational skills she needed, and it was a natural transition — but she had a lot to learn about managing homes, maintaining systems, and working with vendors.

She gained everything she needed to know on the job, and after 25 years as an estate manager, she says she’s still learning.
